  2. Opera fell for that trap: the problem is that no browser has a perfect CSS 2.1 implementation, and so documentation like this is essential for knowing what actually works. Even better would be a browser vendor that meticulously documents the bugs in their own rendering engine, but I can't think of any that do yet.
