An Early Look At IE9 for Developers (via) Surprisingly, no mention of SVG or canvas and only a note in passing about HTML 5.
Tagged canvas, html5, ie, ie9, microsoft, svg
IE9 as of now supports SVG2, Video, some CSS3, addEventListener, and more.
No Canvas though, but they stated that this isn't anywhere near the final feature set. So Canvas may be on the horizon.
