An Early Look At IE9 for Developers (via) Surprisingly, no mention of SVG or canvas and only a note in passing about HTML 5.
IE9 as of now supports SVG2, Video, some CSS3, addEventListener, and more.
No Canvas though, but they stated that this isn't anywhere near the final feature set. So Canvas may be on the horizon.

@kangax on Twitter used #IE9 for a ton of reportage on testing yesterday (3/15). I hope he boils it down into a post somewhere.
