"Recover my account" link on the login page. For the record, collecting and verifying e-mail addresses is a VERY good idea, even (especially?) if you accept OpenID. A verified e-mail address is still absolutely the best way to deal with lost passwords or “my OpenID isn’t working”.
The downside of email verification is that it results in a non-trivial drop in the number of people who actually complete the registration process. We never verified email addresses at Pownce for that reason (Daniel felt very strong about this). We still did password recovery though... I don't think e-mail verification is an absolute must to do password recovery.

Slightly taken aback by the "we don't do this so we can't do this" response over on UserVoice.
It's like a bad comedy sketch:
- You should take email addresses so you can help people recover their accounts.
- We don't take email addresses, so we can't help people recover their accounts.
- Yes, that's why I was suggesting it.
- What do you think this is? A user feedback forum or something?
