Django Developer Jobs. Just an observation: the Django job market is booming at the moment, with 16 new job ads posted so far this year (that’s nearly one a day). If you want to be paid money to develop in Django there’s never been a better time.

  1. My only lament about Python and Django are the lack of widespread developers. Certain areas (NYC, SF, etc) have high concentrations, but other areas seem to be nearly barren.

  2. Warsaw (Poland) seems to be very dense on Django-related jobs. There are 2 companies doing webdevelopment entirely in Django, but no developers for hire anymore (all who know Django in Warsaw seem to work already there ;)). Plus one large company that does its backend systems in Twisted makes Warsaw interesting place to live for developer seeking Python-related job. ;)

  3. I've also noticed a sudden increase in django related jobs. Though, at least here in the UK, a lot of companies seem to want to use Django but then can't find enough developers so they go with another solution, which is a shame.

My company use Django for all web applications/websites, not sure of many others that do in the UK, though i'm sure that number is steadily increasing.
