That's just silly. Do they mean something else or are they serious that this is a problem? (In which case I wonder when someone will set up a foundation for the hecto-millennium problem.)
I'm going to start taking donations for my yotta-millennium foundation ... cause the Long Now isn't really long enough for me.

I think this is more a light-hearted way of reinforcing their general message about long term thinking.
Hmm.. what about when the year 99999 ticks over to 100000?
We'll have planes crashing and toasters exploding all over again!
