Sorry PR people: you're blocked. I was added to some PR mailing lists a few months ago and they appear to be spreading my address around like a nasty disease. I’m tempted to contribute some addresses to Chris Anderson’s block list.

I believe I was also added to a PR database in the not-too-distant past. I've been writing back to PR people who mail me in an attempt to find out where they got my address, but so far no luck.
It isn't the first time, either-- I got hit by this back in 2005 or so. That time I was able to find out where I'd been added and get myself removed from the DB in question. I'm hoping to be similarly lucky this go-round... but that might be hoping for a bit too much.
