Upgrading to Prototype 1.6: real world examples. I still don’t find Prototype as intuitive as jQuery, but the API improvements between 1.5 and 1.6 are very impressive.

    I would say that we all think our libraries are "intuitive" just because we are familiar with them. Both jQuery and Prototype solve similar problems, but because of different philosophies they have taken wildly separate paths. "Switching" to another philosophy and another API flavor is always a bumpy road.
