Sadly Wesabe still doesn't handle HSBC UK accounts properly - you have to manually download the statements from their site and upload them to Wesabe (either through the Web or with their Desktop application). The site also seems to assume my accounts are in $s.
Hi, Simon,
If you set your country when you register, or set it by clicking on your username at the top of any page while you're logged in, we use that country's currency as your default. Some bank data files don't provide any currency information in them, and we do default to U.S. dollars in that case, but only if you didn't set your country when registering. (We'll also automatically convert currencies to your default if you have accounts in multiple currencies.)
Also, we're testing a tool that automates HSBC UK (and almost all other banks). If you'd like to give it a try drop me an email at marc at wesabe dot com and I'll get you set up.
Hope this helps.
Best,
Marc Hedlund

Thanks Simon, I had a look at Wesabe last year but it wasn't quite there yet, wasn't supporting my aussie bank nor had an API.
I suspect once they have a write-enabled API, they will pick up lots of customers. Back to using it again now:) Thanks again for the link.
