We’re the largest domain registrar in the world, and my view is, for $8.95 its not okay for somebody to come and use our services to harm other people.

  1. OK, so if I want to go and use their services to hurt people, how much do I have to pay?

I look forward to the launch of GoDaddy's aggressively-priced "Come and Hurt People" service: it'll cost a little more than the basic $8.95 registration, of course, but you can't always be counting your pennies ...

  2. I think you got it all wrong, Angus. I am one of those weird persons that believe money can't buy everything. Go and read the source of the sentence quoted and you will know what it is referring about.
I have my domains registered with GoDaddy, by the way. I have received very good service from them.

  3. I did read the source article (thank you, Simon, for the pointer to that), and I was just making a silly joke about the spokesperson's choice of words. Nothing deeper or more sophisticated than that was intended.

For what it's worth, I am also a GoDaddy customer, and have been generally pleased with them. I certainly wasn't intending to bash GoDaddy.
