While reading the article, I realized that another neat feature of a single signon is that you no longer have to remember IF you have an account with a service.

Yeah! I get that all the time -- there are sites where I can't remember whether I have already joined, and whether if I did I used my initials (my usual preference) or full name, and if so which password I used. It would be so nice if these occasional-visit sites supported OpenID.
