ExtInfoWindow 1.0: Ajax powered, CSS customization. Finally, a semi-official way of creating customised info windows for the Google Maps API. You lose the default shadow but gain the ability to style the entire info window using CSS.

  1. Although it currently doesn't support custom shadows, you can fake it out by including a drop shadow in the cut images you use in your css. It won't look as nice and polished as what you see with the standard info window, but it'll give you the desired 3D effect.
