AppJet: Instant Web Programming. Another attempt at simple server-side JavaScript application hosting. Worth checking out for the impressive syntax highlighting code editor, which even matches braces.

  1. Yes, the syntax highlighting code editor is pretty neato. I'm wondering if they have plans for supporting vim, or emac keybindings. I hear that this is not possible in input fields.

By the way, like the OpenID integration, and explicit auto, manual html modes.

  2. If you like this, you may also find my site http://utilitymill.com interesting.

It uses Python instead of Javascript and focuses more on simplicity and speed over flexibility.

  3. Another similar service is http://AppPad.com

It lets you create data-driven apps against a Javascript API.
