mod_python introduction
Introducing mod_python by Gregory Trubetskoy. One of my biggest problems with mod_python is that documentation outside of the mod_python manual is pretty hard to come by. This article is more of an executive overview than a tutorial, but anything that adds to the overall body of knowledge out there concerning mod_python has to be a good thing. I’m hoping to write some material on mod_python best practises at some point in the near future, but I have to work out what they are first. Luckily the project has an active and very helpful mailing list.

I agree totally. A Wiki or at least tutorial/source code site revolving around mod_python. I just got it installed and have reviewed the docs. It doesn't seem like it will be that hard if you have web app development experience in something like cgi and Servlets/JSPs, but it could confuse a newbie. I am sure there are a fair few tips and tricks users have found about it that would help others too.
I am trying to push the president of my company into letting me roll his new companies site and tools using all open source, including mod_python. It would be great to have a useful resource with others experiences and insights. I love the PSO package as well, especially if your server only allows CGI (like my current hosting company for my personal site), but mod_python seems to have a lot more going for it for large traffic sites. I can't wait to see how it performs and handles additional testing.
By the way, love the site.
