Weblogs.com table using floats

I’ve knocked up another attempt at Weblogs.com in CSS, this time using floats instead of absolute/relative positioning. It seems to work pretty well.

This is Weblogs.com table using floats by Simon Willison, posted on 28th January 2003.

  1. Looks great to me except Opera doesn't like it much. And isn't the OL selector already a block element? Have you tested it on any Mac browsers?

  2. I've filed a bug with Opera - it really shouldn't be doing that (the numbers on the list end up floated right as well, so the whole thing goes pretty weird). I don't have access to a Mac at the moment unfortunately.

  3. Unless someone gets to it sooner, I'll test it on my Mac when I go home for lunch.
