  1. Hmm I do not share your opinon on "one of the more mature wiki-style markup languages". I agree that it may be powerfull but I find it quite hard to learn (or doc is not user-friendly) compare to textile, trac wiki syntax, etc.

  2. I meant mature as in "it's been around for 5 years and there's lots of software that can manipulate it". It's not as easy to learn as some of the competition, but it's far more powerful - kind of like docbook compared to HTML. See also Jacob's comment on programming.reddit about the ReST toolchain.

  3. Hmm ok I misunderstood you on the sense of "mature". So this way, I agree.

    I also agree with you and jacob on its power. I hope that rst2a will reach its goal to make reSt accessible to any user.
