Simon Willison’s Weblog

But here’s the thing: Regular people on the web *love* Snap previews. I know you don’t believe it—I didn’t want to believe it. But it’s completely true. In the testing and feedback I’ve seen, it’s some emotional pull about the fact that links “do something” now, instead of just being on the page.

  2. I'm calling bullshit. Snap is throwing around money, and somehow bloggers are being swayed. Show me the test tapes, and I might reconsider.

  5. Absolute cobblers.

You can't tell me that there's such a thing as a "regular" person who likes having their browsing interfered with.

If it is true then Snap are the Avril Levigne of the interweb: inexplicably popular.
